Slicom group’s development strategy is based on the internationalization of its markets, its suppliers and its production sites.
Our customers and delivery sites are spread out in many European countries - France, Spain, Italy, Germany, England, Poland and Romania – but also in China, India Canada and Latin America.
Our international competitiveness is based on three key factors: our purchase and logistics engineering, our low and middle cost production capacities in India and Tunisia and our specialised French units which ensure the security of production in emerging countries.
In the coming years, to continue supporting its customers in all parts of the world and offer them optimal production costs, the group is planning to set up more international sites and partnerships, particularly in the Americas.
Diversifying customer sectors
The Slicom group intends to continue its diversification policy in order to take advantage of the opportunities offered by growth sectors such as energy, railways, defence, etc.
Its five-year business plan reflects the group’s desire to enter the nuclear energy sector and considerably strengthen its position there. It eventually hopes to devote a quarter of its activity to this sector.
For this purpose, the group shall engage in growth by acquisition in order to upgrade its current know-how, particularly in the machining and assembling of large sized parts, by bringing in skills that are specific to this field of activity.
